Volunteers & Coaches

Our coaches and volunteers are the backbone of the Street Survival Program. Without them, we could not hold these schools. Our coaches and volunteers give up their time to help us keep the youthful drivers confident and safe so that we may help reduce the number of teen accidents and deaths.

Duties of a Coach

You must be a Street Survival Certified Coach (Click this Become a Coach link). Coaches will be in the car with your student. You will guide your student through the exercises on the driving course, explaining each exercise so that they understand what the exercise is and what is expected of them. Through continuous repetition, your students will begin to learn and progress to the point where the exercises become near-automatic reactions to the given situations.

Duties of a Volunteer

Volunteers will assist with check-in of the Coaches, Students, & Parents. Assist on the course resetting cones at each of the exercises. Help ensure the students and parents are in the correct places at the correct times. Help with parking, set-up and tear down at the end of the day. You do not need to be a Street Survival Certified Coach or a club member to volunteer.
